Who doesn’t love pancakes??
I, for one, love ‘em! But…
…for the longest time i associated them with a guilty indulgence, as well as a hassle to make. It just wasn’t worth it. Until I discovered these!!
Here is the simplest recipe for healthy, delicious high protein pancakes that you make in minutes! Instead of devouring a large plate of refined flour and sugar, you get to indulge in a delicious plate of lean protein and complex carbs. Now that’s something worth sharing!
Before you get started, make sure you have a whole 7 minutes to make these ; )
Here’s how it goes:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup rolled oats
4 egg whites
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 tsp maple syrup
¾ tsp cinnamon
¼ banana, quartered and sliced
Cooking spray
Directions:
Combine rolled oats, egg whites, peanut butter, syrup, and cinnamon in a medium bowl and then stir in your banana pieces.
Coat a non-stick pan with cooking spray and heat over a medium heat. Pour pancake patter into the pan.
Once the pancakes firms and sets, about wo or three minutes, flip and cook for another minute or so or until cooked through. Indulge!!
